5. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

6. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Topic: Dominion through Praise

Above passage is talking of choir in heaven, with the voice of great multitude, many waters and mighty thundering. When we say let some shout Halleluyah and you refuse to shout, nobody will notice. When you realize the multitude shouting Halleluyah in heaven and you keep quiet, nobody will notice.

Hallelujah means praise the Lord or praise our God. It is heavenly language. Rev 1 reflects how many times Halleluyah was shouted.

Dominion means being in control, being in charge. When they shouted Halleluyah God reigneth, he is in control. That is the good news for everyone that attends this convention. No matter what you are going through God is in control. He is in charge, he has not traveled, he cannot be deposed. I am confident your tomorrow will be alright.

Gen 1:26-28. The main purpose for the creation of man is to have dominion, to be in charge. Man was made in his image that we may have dominion. In verse 28, he said multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion over everything. Don’t be surprised that every animal can be tamed by man because we have dominion.

The one who has dominion is a king and king has a kingdom meaning king and domain that is kings domain that is the area the king has dominion. No king without a kingdom, no king without dominion. No matter how powerful the king or President of Nigeria may be, he cannot decree a curfew in Ghana because his domain does not extend to Ghana. Trump cannot cancel convention because his domain does not reach camp.

Praise is the shortest route to dominion. If you want to have dominion praise God. Matthew 6:9-10. Our Lord’s Prayer, our father who hath in heaven, hallow be thy name, thy Kingdom Come. The moment you praise him, next thing is to enter his kingdom. Rev 19:11-16. One of God’s titles is king of kings and there is a multitude following him. Those following him are kings. Rev 1:5-6. He has made us priests and kings unto God. To him be dominion forever.

The dominant side is the shouting side. 1 Sam 17:51-52. When David killed Goliath, Israel and Judah arose and shouted. Everyone that has dominion must know how to shout. Joshua 6:20. When the children of Israel shouted, the wall of Jericho fell they obtained dominion over the city. In the olden days, if a king wants to expand his kingdom, he defeats the king and takes his crown. From there he expands his kingdom. Rev 3:11. Hold fast to that which you have let no man take your crown. Psa 47:1-3. Means put your enemies between your two hands and slap. Triumph means victory over enemies. If you clap and shout, God will put nations under our feet and subdue people under us. To take over nations we must shout Hallelujah.

We shall be talking more of dominion, financial, political and spiritual dominion. Then you will know why we should join a political party.

Dominion is of no use if it is temporary. Dominant today, underdog tomorrow. Joshua 6:20. Israelites were dominant, Joshua 7:2-7. They went against Ai and they were defeated. True dominion must be everlasting. Dan 4:34. Exo 15:18. Rev 22:3-5. These establish we shall reign forever.

Therefore to remain dominant requires persistent praise since praise opens the way to dominion. Praise comes from the heart of gratitude. Psa 34:1. I will bless the Lord at all times his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Problem with many people who rose and fell is because they stopped praising God. In all things give thanks if you are to remain dominant.

When gratitude begins to reduce, sin crepes in 2 Sam 12:7-9. Has God done at least one miracle and how will you want to repay him. When sin crepes in dominion ends. Joshua 7:1-12. When sin came in dominion ends, to get dominion back get rid of sin.

Why is gratitude to God so important? Because God is our greatest ally, the one we call on when enemies invade us. Roms 8:31. If God is for us who can take our crown. Isaiah 43:13. He is God and no one can deliver out of his hands. This is why wise people praise God constantly because they know if they praise him he will grant them dominion over sickness, disease permanently. Luke 17:9-17. Ten lepers, only one came back and he had dominion over leprosy totally. He was made whole.

Grateful people can have permanent victory over demons no matter how many. The reason I don’t bind devil before beginning of a program is that it was bound and probably got loose and no guaranty he will not get loose before the end of service but secondly no body stays where they are praising his enemy. Mad man of Gadara got dominion because he worshipped God and followed him, and God made him permanently dominant over his enemies.

Rev 4:8-11. Consider what they said with their action. They fell on their faces for the one who lives forever and ever, the one that created them. They cast down their crowns and surrender the dominion which he gave to them back to them.

The number one reason why we cannot praise God is pride. Those who will praise God the most, are likely to be Deacons and Deaconesses. But in ten years time, these present deacons and deaconesses, may not praise God as they did ten years ago.

Spend 15 minutes to worship him.
