Topic: Let there be Light part 2
Next month is the anniversary of the Holy Ghost service. It will be for 3 night, Thursday 5 – Saturday 7, 2020. Theme: Let there be light part 3.
Text: Genesis 1:1-3
Before we go to the main part if the message, we want to talk to those who are yet to give their life to Jesus Christ.
Let there be light can mean, Lord please open my eyes, Mark 10:46-52.
Let there be light could mean, Lord please open my eyes Ephesians 1:18, the eyes of understanding. One if the meanings of let there be light means open my eyes if understanding. If God opens your eyes of understanding, one thing you will realise is, light is war, continuous war that’s why you don’t see a child coming into this world laughing. When you see a child coming to world, the child cries. 1 Corinthians 15:26, Life is full of hunters hunting for souls. 1 peter 5:8, Proverbs 6:26, Micah 7:2. We are alive today only by the mercies of God, Lamentation 2:22:23, Proverbs 21:31, Romans 8:31. The only reason we are confident that this hunters out there will not be able to conquer us is because we are more than conquerors, Romans 8:37, Proverbs 8:36, if you hate God, that means you love death. Many of this hunters knows your routine, knows what you like to eat and bring it to you in your dream. They know your weakness, most of the times they want to operate under the cloth of darkness that is why you need the light. Psalm 23:4. If you don’t have the light with you, you are playing a very dangerous game. You can’t fight darkness with darkness, only light shines and darkness cannot comprehend it. If you have not given your life to Christ, why not run to Him to give your life to Him. He is the only guarantee you have.

Gen 1:1-3
What exactly does God means exactly when He says Let there be Light, it means;
1. Let morning begins, Psalm 30:5. When God is saying, let the morning begins, He is actually saying let sorrow seize.
Some people have sorrow every month, Samuel 1:1-20.
– Sorrow could come as a result of tragedies particularly when the tragedies are recurrent. Luke 7:11-16.
– Disappointment can also cause sorrow, particularly if you are the one who fails, Mathew 26:69-75.
– Sorrow is a very dangerous thing, Job 17:7, sorrow deems visions, sorrows weakens, Luke 22:45-46. Sorrow is a killer, sorrow can cause someone to go mad if it is deep enough.
2. Let there be light, let there be morning could mean let there be a new beginning. A new dawn, a fresh beginning. A new beginning means, let there be restoration. Example of a restoration, (Restoration of a withered hand) Mark 3:1-5, A man hand can be withered financially or spiritually.
2 Kings 6:1-7 (when someone who use to be useful or have an impact suddenly becomes someone who no longer functions suddenly becomes an axe that fell into the water)
Ezekiel 37:1-10 (restoration of dry bones to be relevant again)
3. Let there be light, let there be new beginning of morning could mean, let there be new creation. It could mean let there be brown new creation. John 9:1-7 (a man born blind who was recreated)
2 Kings 5:1-14 (Naaman got a brown new skin)
Let there be light could really mean going back to the origin to put things right,
Prophesy
The Lord said there is someone here tonight, they use to celebrate you but now they don’t want to touch you, the Lord said, they will celebrate you again.
4. Let there be light, have a deeper meaning, it means Let the siege be over. Almost invariably, a siege is laid at night. Judges 16:1-3, 2 Kings 6;8-16, Mark 5:25-34
Prophesy
The Lord ask me to tell someone tonight, just like a bird will fly away, your reproach will fly away. Amen
5. Let there be light could mean don’t let my sun set yet. Joshua 10:1-12.
Let there be light could mean I don’t want to die yet, I have not reach my goal yet, 2 Kings 20:1-11. (Lord hear my cry tonight)

The Lord ask me to tell somebody, He said the arrow that came to you by night shall leave tonight
Prophesy
Daddy ask me to tell somebody tonight, everything standing between you and your Joy, I will break tonight.
If your sun is not shinning yet, pray that your sun will rise. If your sun is already shinning, pray that it will not set yet, Judges 16:18-31 (the sun set prematurely for Samson), Joshua 24:29. You have a choice, if you want the sun to set yet or you want the sun to live much longer.
Prayer points
1. Thank God for keeping you alive till this time. Give Him praise
2. Father, please let there be light and keep sorrow far away from my family
3. Father, let there be light and give me full restoration.
4. Father, please let there be light shinning into the origin of my family
5. Father, let there be light and let every siege against my family be gone.
6. Father, don’t let my sun set yet.
