1. Now let’s lift our hands to the Most High God and bless His Holy Name. Let’s worship the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Ancient of Days. Let’s give Him Glory, let’s give Him Honour and Adoration. Bless His Holy Name. Worship Him. Give Him Glory, because another Congress is here and by the Grace of God, you are also here. Worship Him.
Bless His Holy Name/3 times. Thank you Father. Oh Lord God Almighty we bless your Name. Thank you Jesus. We worship you Lord, we give you all Glory, all Honour, all Adoration. Thank you for what you have done in the past. Thank you, another Congress is here. And by your Grace and your Grace alone we are here too. Thank you Father.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed.
2. Now I want you to lift uo your voice loud and clear and say Father; in my life, in my family, in your Church and in my Nation: This week, reveal your GLORY please.
Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed.

OPENING PRAYER: King of Glory we worship you. Alpha and Omega we bow before you. The Unchangeable Changer we say; may your Name forever be Glorified. Accept our worship in Jesus Name.
Thank you for all you have done in the past Congresses. Thank you for what you are about to do now. Thank you because you always reserve the best till the last. So we know that you are going to do Greater things this year than before. Please accept our worship in Jesus Name.
In the lives of everyone of your children: those who are here now, those who are yet on the way (or reading); this week please reveal your Glory. In our family, please reveal your Glory. In all the Churches represented here, reveal your Glory. And in all the Nations where they are listening to us (or reading) right now, reveal your Glory. Even before tomorrow morning, let your children have Testimonies.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed. Amen!
Now let somebody shout Hallelujah.
Shake hands with two (2) or three (3) people, Prophesy to them and say; Your Glory is near.
You are all welcome in Jesus Name. Am happy to see so many of you this first night; in spite of the traffic on the way. I want to assure you that as from tomorrow, traffic will be easier.
And so, go tell your friends; if they miss tonight and they miss tomorrow, that they have missed one third (1/3) of the entire Programme. So tell them they should leave home early and be here in time because tomorrow is going to be the day for HEALINGS.
… Glory be to God!
Because some of you have arrived from far places, we will be very brief tonight. But we will still do whatever God wants us to do.
I have been asked to speak to us tonight on “A NEW NAME.”
BIBLE TEXT: Revelation 2:17
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
Somebody is getting a New Name tonight – Amen! If you are the one, let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Now, you say “What is in a New Name?”
Shakespeare, one of the great Writers of yester years said:: “A Rose by any other name will smell as sweet”.
In other words, he was saying; Names don’t matter. But that is human opinion. Because God said in Isaiah 55:8. He said; My thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways.
There could be a lot in a name. Some of you will change your name even before this night is over. Amen! Because a name can affect your Destiny and your legacy (your destiny you want to leave behind after this world).
For example, Moses in Exodus 2:1-10. We discovered, particularly in verse 10 that Moses means “Drawn out of Water”. And when you go through the history of Moses, you see water playing major roles.
For example; he changed water to blood. He parted the Red Sea. He changed bitter water to sweet – that’s in Exodus 15:22-26. He brought water out of the Rock – Exodus 17:1-6. And do you know that the reason he couldn’t get to the Promised Land was because of the Water? – Numbers 20:1-13.
So all the days of Moses, water just kept on cropping up because his name said – “Drawn out of Water”.
Let’s take another example; Elijah – Elijah means “Jehovah is God!” And on Mount Camel in 1Kings 18:30-39, after he prayed and fire fell. And the Nation of Isreal fell on his face and everyone was shouting “Jehovah is God”. They were actually shouting “Elijah”.
Your name is important. It can affect your destiny.
Then what about your Legacy – What you leave behind?
Your name can also have an impart on your Legacy.
There is a man called Methuselah in the Bible in Genesis 5: 26-27. He lived 969 years. He was the oldest man who ever lived. But do you know that since he died, nobody ever named his son Methuselah. And nobody used his name as an appellation – Mr. Lagbaja alias Methuselah. I am sure you have never heard anything like that? Because he lived long, and all he did was eat and had children. 969 years, he achieved nothing!
You have never heard anybody named his child Judas Iscariot. Why? That man left behind a terrible Legacy.
You have never heard anybody call his son Cain. Why? He was the first murderer.
Nobody wants to start and end badly. So when people are selecting names, they are very careful.
Have you ever heard anyone call his daughter Jezebel; Even though Jezebel was a Queen? But what kind of Queen was she? A terrible Queen that was leading her husband deeper into IDOLATRY. Nobody ever call their daughter Jezebel.
And then you hear people calling their children; Stephen, Abel, Mary, Enoch. Because those are great Names!
Your name is very important. Abraham for example; when you go through the Scriptures, whenever you see again and again, the years are passing and nothing that God said come to pass. In Genesis 17:1-6; And God changed the name from Abram to Abraham.
When Your name is a good one like Issac. You will see that Isaac never caused his parents sorrow. Unlike Jabez who the mother named “Sorrow” in 2 Chronicles 4:9-10. Jabez cried to God and God intervened, and changed his name.
May I decree tonight, that if your name is standing between you and your Glory; the Almighty God will intervene.
Now, what are the Implications of a New Name?
Apart for the fact that a New Name could imply you have joined a New Family. For example in John 1:11-12 –
11. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12. But as many as received him, to them gave He Power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
Is anybody here tonight (or reading) who will love to be called “son of the devil?” How many of you will loved to be called the children of God?
… let me hear you say Amen – Amen!
Now you could join a New Family through two (2) ways:
1. We could be children of God by ADOPTION. Because God has only one (1) BEGOTTEN Son – that is Jesus Christ (John 3:16). But the rest of us were Adopted. And we are also sons and daughters of God.
2. Alternatively, you can join a New Family and get a New Name by MARRIAGE; particularly if you are a woman.
You go into the for wedding as Miss Ogundele and come out as Mrs. Olorundara.
If you join a New Family, that automatically means; particularly if you joined that family by marriage:
1. That automatically means a New Accommodation. If you join the family of God, for example, you will be automatically translated out of darkness to Light.
.. If you are join a New Family;
2. Automatically it means New Behaviour and new Responsibility. When you leave your father’s House and marry into another family; Ephesians 5:8 says: “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”
But those of us who are here today, we must be sober. We must put on the breastplate of Faith and Love. So the New Name Mandate implies New Behaviour and New Responsibilities.
Now, there are Advantages in having a New Name. For example: The Almighty God made a Promise in Isaiah 43:7. He said, everyone called by my Name, I have created for my Glory! If you are called by the Name of God, GLORY is guaranteed for you.
For example when you hear the name Christian, which is associated with Christ; it follows that you are associated with the Anointed One.
Acts 10:38 says: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: who went about doing Good, and Healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.”
The moment you become associated with Christ, the Anointing that is upon Jesus Christ becomes available to you. Isaiah 10:27 tells us that the Anointing breaks yoke.
So it is not a small thing, when you say “I am a Christian”. I am a Christian means I am associated with Christ. I am called by the Name of God. My yoke will be destroyed and I am made for the Glory of God.
If you are a Christian, you will have New Names; because Jesus Himself has many Names. And so if you are a Christian, you will end up with many names. I mean, Jesus Christ, you see Him today, He will say: “I am the Way”. You see Him Tomorrow, He will say “I am the Door”. The next time He will say: “I am the Shepherd”. The next time, He will say my name is Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
I just want to looks at one (1) or two (2);
1. You know you can boldly say to anybody who ask you that your New Name is: “The Light of the World”.
If they ask why? You say that is the Name Jesus called me. Where? – in Matthew 5:13-16.
… So what is your New Name? – “LIGHT OF THE WORLD!”
And do you know the implication of that? It means that when darkness sees you coming, it must run. Because the Light shines in darkness and darkness cannot overcome it.
… The moment you become a Christian, you have a right to that name – “The Light”.
The moment you become a Christian, your days of running from forces of darkness are over. Because if you don’t, of course the devil is ready to cheat you. But if you know it; the moment you become a True Christian; Witches and Wizards should be afraid of you.
Before I became Born Again, for thirteen (13) years I was running from my Village because some people there told my father they will use me for breakfast. So I ran. After thirteen (13) years I met the Lord Jesus Christ. And then there was something to do in my village. And I told my mother “I am going”. She said “You have to bury me first”. I laughed and I said; things are different now. I am not the one you used to know.
I went and I came back. Today, when I want to go to my village I announce ahead “I am coming home, so that the witches and wizards can go away.
May I decree to someone here (or reading) that; because your name is Light, Forces of darkness with begin to run away from you.
And because your name is Light; what Light does is to Shine and the meaning of Glory is SHINNING BEAUTY – Beginning from this moment, you will begin to Shine – Amen!
… I thought I will hear a better Amen – AMEN!
2. Because you are a Christian, Jesus calls you the SALT of the Earth.
And by implication, you are to bring Joy to people. Because Salt is needed to seasoned food, Salt is needed as a fertilizer; to make things produce. Salt is needed to keep flies at bay and to deal with corruption.
Because your name is Salt, it means you are to impart your generation. It means your life will not be a wasted life. It means you will not live a useless life.
For Example, in Acts 8:5-8; the Bible says Philip went to Samaria and preached Christ to them. The Bible says as a result of that one fellow, Joy was brought to a whole City.
May I assure you that after this Congress everywhere you go, when you arrive; Joy arrives, Miracles arrive. And in all those places where they had ignored you before; Your Glory will begin to manifest.
3. Do you know what, because you belong to the family of God and one of the Names of Christ; with whom you are associated is the Door. You are called a Door.
You know what that means? Nobody can shut the door at you anymore! Why? Because your Father has the Keys of David. He opens and no one can shut, He shuts and no one can open.
That is why when they put Peter in prison, in Acts 12:5-11; the Door opened for him to be released.
In the Name that is above other names, from this moment on, everywhere you turn, doors will open for you.
4. Because you are a Christian, and Christian means Christ is involved with you. According to Colossians 1:27, the Bible says Christ in you the Hope of Glory.
Because you are associated with Christ. And because Christ is now dwelling in me. Because people have known me with Christ; whether the enemy likes it not; “My future will be Glorious”.
Whether the enemy likes it or not. If you are truly a Christian: You have a Glorious tomorrow.
I have always said it again and again; that my tomorrow will be alright. Are you sure of that? Yes, my tomorrow will be alright!
I am associated with Christ. Christ in me the Hope of GLORY, not shame, not failure.
Before you now go at the end of your journey to Heaven; in the text that we read: Revelation 2:17; when we get to heaven, one of the things that Jesus will do is that He will give each of us a White Stone, and on it a New Name.
That is why I am so glad I am a Christian on my way to Heaven. Because when I get there finally, I will get a New Name.
But in the mean time; I can introduce myself as the Light, Salt, the Door.
… Go ahead introduce yourself to two (2) or three (3) people.
What is your name? I am the Light, I am Salt, I am a Door.
You know I discovered something when I was preparing for this Message. That the Bible says, even Jesus when we get to Heaven, will have a New Name. Revelation 3:12 says: “Him that overcometh will I make a Pillar in the Temple of my God, and He shall go no more out: and I will write upon Him the Name of my God, and the Name of the City of my God, which is New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of Heaven from my God: and I will write upon Him my new Name.
… If Jesus needs a New Name, I also need a New Name.
Many of us don’t know what we have. That is why the devil has been tormenting us. From now on, our Glory Time has come. No more shame, no more feeling downcast.
And in the Name of the One who sent me – No more sorrow in your life.
So if you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you don’t know what you are missing. If you are a Church Goer and you are claiming you are a Christian you are deceiving yourself. That is why the devil said “Jesus I know, Paul I know, who are you?”
But in the mean time if you are here and don’t really know Christ, I am going to count from one (1) to ten (10). Before I say Ten (10) come and and stand here; And I pray that things will be different for you from now on.
I am counting…
Oh, becoming a Christian is not a joking matter. It is serious business. Because it means a change of Name, Family, Behavior, Responsibilities. And I am telling you, the Name He will confer on you has tremendous Power and Authority.
Thank you to those of you who are clapping – Your Glory is here now. Keep Clapping, God bless you for clapping. Your hands will never lack again.
Those of you who are coming from afar just keep coming. I can see you running. Keep coming. Make sure you get here before I finish praying. Just keep coming, God bless you.
Now those of you already in front and those of you who are on the way, cry to Jesus Christ, tell Him: Lord please save my soul, wipe away my sins. Receive me into the Family of God. I surrender my life to you. I will serve you for the rest of my life.
And the rest of us who are already Born Again, let us stretch forth our hands towards these people and intercede for them. Let us pray that the One who save our souls will save their own souls too. Please pray for them that they too will get a New Name today. They will become children of the Most High God. Intercede for them for about two (2) minutes
Those of you coming please hurry up. I know some of you are coming from afar. Because I will soon be praying for Salvation. Thank you Father. Glory be to your Holy Name. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!
GO PRAYS: Saviour we want to thank you for your Word. We want to give you all Glory and Honour for these your people who have come forward to surrender their lives to you. Father you have Promise that whosoever that comes to you; you will no wise cast out. Please receive them, forgive them, let your Blood wash away their sins, save their souls, write their names in the Book of Life, receive them into the family of God and don’t let them backslide again. And from now on, anytime they call on you, answer them by Fire. Please Lord, don’t let them backslide. And please Lord, let them serve you till the very end.. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!
And those of you who have come forward, Congratulations.
… Let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
I want to rejoice with you. Because of you, Jesus is dancing in Heaven.
I want you to stay where you are. Counsellors could you please come and attend to them? The Counsellors will attend to you where you are. Because i will need your Names and Addresses. And I promise you from tonight onward, I will be praying for you – Congratulations!
I want you to stay where you are because you will be part of the prayers we are about to pray now.
Ok, the rest of us, know that you are now a very Special Person with the name – Light of the Earth, Salt of the Earth, other names.
That if you pray, your prayers will not be anymore hindered by the forces of darkness. I will tell you that whatever prayer you pray today, God is going to answer by Fire in Jesus Name.
I want you to stand on your feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
PRAYERS:
1. Lift up your voice to the Almighty God and thank Him for the priviledge of being in the Family of God.
2. Say Father; in the Mighty Name of Jesus, any SHAME in my Past, erase it tonight.
3. Say Father; in the Mighty Name of Jesus, any SHAME in my Present, Let it end tonight.
… And now, this one is very crucial;
4. Say Father; in the Mighty Name of Jesus, any SHAME in my Destiny, cancel it tonight.
5. Say Father; in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Let my Future be Glorious.
… Thank you Father, in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed.
6. Before I pray for you; since you are here the very first night. I think you should ask God for AN ADVANCED MIRACLE – A Miracle that comes before the other people will arrive.
CLOSING PRAYER: Father, I want to thank you for the Opening Night. Thank you for starting with us. Thank you in advanced for what you will do tomorrow. Please accept our thanks in Jesus Name.
Any Shame in the Past of these your children, erase it tonight, in Jesus Name. Any Shame in their Present, end it tonight in Jesus Name. Any Shame in their Future, cancel it tonight in Jesus Name.
From now on, my Father and my God, every day of their lives let there be Glory. And whatever they have asked for tonight, before tomorrow morning, Father please release to them.
And those who have to go home tonight, grant them journey mercies. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

EDITORIAL: What an awesome Moment in the Presence of the Lord tonight.
… Our Glory has indeed start Shinning Brightly to the Glory of God even from Day 1.
Day 1 is down already. Day 2 is the Day for Healings. So for as many people who are sick, it is your Day – Doctor Jesus awaiting you!
The setting is right and we are already in the mood of the Holy Ghost Congress. The Presence of the Almighty so Mighty here and you just need to ensure that you don’t miss any Service again from tonight.
