OPENING PAYER: Father, if you are visiting only two people tonight let me be one of them.
There are miracles and there are miracles. In Acts 5:12-15 there were miracles done by the hands of Peter.
Acts 19:11-12 God performed Special Miracles by the hands of Paul.
There are regular miracles and there are special miracles. There are various categories of miracles.
CATEGORY 1: MIRACLES THAT CAN FRIGHTEN THE ENEMIES
In Exodus 12 when God performed a special miracle in Egypt killing at least one person in every Egyptian household the enemies of Israel and Pharaoh were frightened.
In 2 Kings 6:8-23 God kept revealing the plans of a king plotting against Israel to Prophet Elisha. This trend frightened the king. Elisha arrested the soldiers sent to arrest him by the king. In 2 Kings 7:1-11 God used four lepers to bring financial and food abundance to Samaria within 24 hours by causing the enemies of Israel to hear a mighty sound and they fled.
#PRAYER: Father, this very night give me a miracle that will frighten my enemies.
CATEGORY 2: THERE ARE MIRACLES THAT WILL FRIGHTEN YOUR NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS
In Mark 2:1-12 a paralyzed man was carried in through the roof by his 4 friends. His problems were not hidden but God gave him a miracle of healing that made everyone who saw him to be amazed.
In Acts 3:1-11 the lame man healed at the beautiful gate caused an amazement in the temple. You will become an amazement to everybody when God does a special miracle in your life.
In Mark 5:1-11 the hopeless mad man of Gadara was delivered and healed when he had a divine encounter. The people were afraid when they saw him sit calmly at the feet of Jesus. When a man who had goiter during a HolyGhost Service in the National Stadium was healed instantly the woman who was sitting beside him was so dazed. When the programme was over she walked from Surulere to Palm Grove before realizing that she left her car behind in the Stadium.
PRAYER: Father, please give me the kind of miracles that will daze my neighbors tonight.
CATEGORY 3: THE MIRACLE THAT WILL FRIGHTEN YOU YOURSELF.
In Luke 5:1-10 Peter had a miracle of more than abundant harvest of fish after failing initially. When Peter saw what happened to him when he had an encounter with Jesus he was afraid and amazed.
There is a miracle that can frighten the beneficiary. In Mark 4:35-41 the disciples were afraid when Jesus silenced the storm on the sea.
PRAYER: Father, please give me a miracle so big and massive that will shake me.
CATEGORY 4: THERE ARE MIRACLES THAT ARE LIKE A DREAM.
There are miracles so big that at first you will say “Am I dreaming?” Psalm 126:1-3. In 1 Kings 17:8-16 the widow of Zarephath would have thought that she was dreaming when there was a sudden endless supply of food in her household.
PRAYER: Father, the kind of miracles that will appear to me to be like a long, continuous dream, give it to me today.
ALTAR CALL
PSALM 126:1 “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion we were like they that dreamed…”
Dream like miracles belong to Zion. Zion refers to people of God. Miracles that frighten and make people think that they are dreaming only belong to those who are saved and belong to the family of God.
Surrender your life to God now if you want to enjoy these kinds of miracles.
PRAYER FOR FINANCIAL MIRACLE (DURING OFFERING):
FATHER, PLEASE GIVE ME A FINANCIAL MIRACLE THAT WILL FRIGHTEN EVERYONE AND BE LIKE A DREAM THIS VERY NIGHT
